Elaine Morgan, LMFT, ADHD Certified Clinical Provider

Elaine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and works with individuals, couples, and families. Elaine provides emotional and psychological support for those experiencing Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Self-Harm/High Risk Behaviors, and challenges in partnered relationships. She is experienced in providing support to adolescents and their families as they navigate peer pressure, academic pressure, and misunderstandings in communication. She provides transitional support to non-binary and transgender identifying individuals and their families. Elaine is also experienced working with couples that are questioning their relationship or are experiencing a crisis. As Elaine previously worked as an EMT for several years and has worked in a mental health clinic, she is skilled with navigating crisis situations and supporting clients as they increase safety. Elaine provides a person-centered, collaborative, and integrated approach with all clients.

Elaine earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Trauma Informed Practice from Syracuse University. While at SU, Elaine received training in Gender Affirmation Therapy. Apart from SU, Elaine is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Finally, Elaine co-authored a chapter in DSM-5-TR in Family Systems with Dr. Deborah Coolhart titled “Gender Dysphoria in Family Systems” which was published in 2023. Elaine further supported academic research by conducting a literature review of non-binary experiences which was used for Dr. Coolharts’ publications.
